83 Box-office Collection Day 3: Ranveer Singh And Deepika Padukone’s Film Shows Slow Progression At First Weekend
83 is the recently released film starring Bollywood’s power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as reel husband-wife. Kabir Khan has put all his hard work into adding life to the film. It is a cricket biopic film depicting the story of the Indian cricket team’s victory. Ranveer plays Kapil Dev while Deepika essays Romi, the cricketer’s wife. The film was released in theaters on December 24, in various languages including Hindi.
The film had its first weekend this Saturday and Sunday, December 25 and 26. The box-office collection of the film is steady but, it is growing slowly. On December 26, the film 83 made a collection of Rs 17.41 crore. On collecting this much amount on its day 3 of release, the total collection of the film 83 becomes Rs 47 crore.

On the day of release ie, on December 24, the film collected Rs 12.64 crore. While on December 25, 83 made it up to Rs 16.95 crore. Generally, it is expected that any film makes a great return on the weekend. The reason is that the audience is free on the weekends and can afford to invest time watching the film on the large screens.
But, it is observed that the film 83 did not make it up to the mark on the weekend. Even this weekend had to be a blockbuster one for 83 as it was Christmas time when everyone is looking forward to having fun. But, the film is not able to attract the audience to watch the film. Even if the film is progressing slowly, it has created a special place in the heart of the audience.

Now, very little time is in the hands of the film to score more at the box-office as the other films are on the way to hit the large screens. Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur’s Jersey is going to release in theaters on December 31. While, RRR is all set to get a theatrical release on January 7, 2022.
