Shekhar Ravjiani is a singer, musician, record producer, and actor from India. Since 1999, he has been one-half of the Bollywood composing/producing combo Vishal & Shekhar. Ravjiani started his career in advertising. He was chosen after auditioning for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. After that, he became a member of the Vishal-Shekhar duet. In 2007 and 2010, they were judges on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, and they produced many Bollywood songs. Ravjiani has sung hit songs ‘Meherbaan’, ‘Tujhe Bhula Diya’, and ‘Bin Tere.’
Lately, the first glimpse at his new music video for the song “Rang” was released The teaser video starts with the soulful sounds of a guitar, which we can see being played by a masculine hand. The focus moves to legs tapping after several other instruments have been displayed. Then, while acting to play the guitar, a female is highlighted without revealing anyone’s face. In the next shot, a microphone is seen, and the video concludes with a collage frame that includes the microphone, the female vocalist, the male singer, the dancers’ boots, and another person playing yet another instrument. The beats are melodious and the music appears to be pretty heartfelt. Coming soon is written at the end of the video.
When SP Balasubrahmanyam died, Shekhar Ravjiani of Vishal-Shekhar fame spoke about the great and recounted his best memories in an exclusive interview with a leading daily. “An irreparable tragedy for us all. His modesty, kindness and generosity, and golden heart have left an indelible mark on all of our lives. I’ve always considered myself fortunate to have been able to record with him and experience his magic. With his captivating smile and unstoppable enthusiasm, he never fails to inspire us all. Sir, I had much more to learn from you”, Shekhar stated in response to the news of his death.
