Timing: In view of the winter season, the board has decided to start the examinations from 11:30 am instead of 10:30. Candidates will get 20 minutes of reading time instead of 15 minutes.

Skill Subjects: As per the guidelines issued by CBSE, the exam for skill subjects will start from November 15, 2021.

Major Subjects: The exam for major subjects will start from November 24. Notably, to avoid the learning loss of the students, CBSE has decided to divide the subjects into two parts- i.e. major subjects and minor subjects: since major subjects are offered by almost all affiliated schools. Therefore, the examination of these subjects will be conducted by fixing the date sheet as before.

When will the board release the admit card and result?

The admit card is likely to be released by last October 2021 and the final results will be declared after the first and second term exams.

“After the conduction of Term-1 examination, the results in the form of marks obtained will be declared. CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj told The Digihuntn Express that no student will be placed in the pass, compartment and required repeat categories after the first term.

“Practical examination or internal assessment will be completed in the schools before the first semester examination is over. The allotted marks will be 50% of the total marks and will be mentioned in the syllabus. Schools will be informed about the complete scheme separately so that they can make necessary preparations.
