New Delhi: The result of Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2021 has been declared on Friday. Mridul Agarwal from Jaipur has not only topped the exam but also scored the highest ever in the IIT-JEE entrance exam. Mridul Agarwal scored 348 out of 360 and topped the exam with 96.66 per cent marks.

This is the highest ever score by a student in the JEE Advanced exam since 2011. Earlier the highest score of JEE was 96 per cent, but this time Mridul Agarwal scored the highest.

Mridul also topped the JEE Main exam and secured 100 percentile in session 1 and session 2 with an impressive 300 marks.

Mridul’s father Pradeep Agarwal is the finance head in a private company and his mother Pooja Agarwal is a homemaker. His younger brother is in seventh grade.

Kavya Chopra tops women

The highest scorer among women is Kavya Chopra from Delhi. In JEE Mains, she not only scored 100 percentile in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021, but also became the first female candidate to score 300 marks out of 300 in the engineering entrance exam. Chopra has improved her score since February’s attempt in which she had secured 99.9 per cent. She is now preparing for IIT entrance exam – JEE Advanced 2021.

Last year, Chirag Fallor secured AIR 1 in JEE Advanced and managed to score 352 marks out of 396. Kanishk Mittal topped among women across Digihunt and she managed to secure 17th rank, with Kanishk scoring 315 marks out of 396.
