From Time Table Release Date to Revised Exam Pattern, Here Are BIG Updates For Students

CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 1 Board Exam: CBSE official Rama Sharma has confirmed that the board will release the date sheet for class 10 and 12 term 1 exam soon on the official website cbse.gov.in. In view of the pandemic, the board has decided to conduct the class 10, 12 board exams in 2 terms, each comprising 50 per cent syllabus. While Term 1 exams will be held in November-December, 2021, Term 2 exams are scheduled for March-April, 2022. Term 1 Exam Pattern Also Read – CBSE Board Exam 2021 Update: Board directs regional directors to visit schools preparing class 10, 12 results

  • The exam will be conducted within 4-8 weeks.
  • MCQ based objective type questions will be asked
  • Case-based reasoning-type MCQ questions can be asked
  • Duration will be of 90 minutes.

Term 2 Exam Pattern

  • Term 2 exam will have case-based, situation-based, open-ended questions
  • Short and long answer type questions will be asked
  • Duration 2 hours

If the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic worsens again, the March exams will be conducted with MCQ-based papers for 90 minutes, the board had clarified earlier.

Meanwhile, CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj had said that if there is any disruption in Term 2 exam, then Term 1 exam will be given more weightage. He further added that the decision for the same “will be taken only at the end of Term II examination.”

When will the board declare the final result?

The final results will be declared after Term 2 exam, however, students will also get separate mark sheet of Term 1 exam. This year the board has collaborated with the Center of Excellence in Blockchain Technology, National Informatics Center to provide CBSE board results.

The digitally signed certificates will be sent to a blockchain-based system to create an additional secure link, CBSE said in a statement. All users including students, educational institutions, employers can access the website.

  • Visit the official site of CBSE Academic {Blockchain} documents at cbse.certchain.nic.in.
  • Click on the ‘Verify’ link available on the home page.
  • New page will open where students have to click on class 10 or class 12
  • submit all details
  • Your result will be displayed on the screen
