Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal on Tuesday started shooting for the upcoming season of the much-awaited series “Ashram” in Jaipur. He will be in the Pink City for a one-month schedule.

The first season of the Prakash Jha directed series was a resounding success. Chandan played the role of ‘Bhopa Swami’, the right-hand man of a self-styled godman named Baba Nirmal (played by Bobby Deol) of Kashipur, whose ashram is a front for crimes.

Sharing his enthusiasm for the same, Chandan shared, “The Ashram marked a turning point in my career path. It gave me a special identity as an actor. The production team is taking all the necessary precautions. And people will find the love of creating content. Love shines while shooting. Bhopa Swamy’s re-entry is very exciting for me as this season is all about new twists.”

Apart from ‘Ashram’, Chandan’s upcoming projects include Vipul Shah’s ‘Sanak’ and some unannounced ventures.
