When will Battlefield Mobile: Beta version release for Android, will it be free-to-play?

The Battlefield Mobile beta version for Android will release this fall. EA made this announcement on its FAQ page. Notably, beta testing began in the autumn with a series of ‘small play tests in Indonesia and the Philippines’. The developer said that it will soon roll out the beta version of the game to other regions as well. ‘Early Access’ will be listed on the Google Play Store once EA releases it in specific regions.

“As we continue testing, we will expand the size of these tests, adding new areas. When we’re ready to go wide, we’ll be launching a page that allows you to pre-register for games and sign up for news about future play tests,” EA frequently asked. Mentioned in the FAQ page.

The developer also confirmed that Battlefield Mobile will be a freemium game and will have its own Battle Pass, collectible cosmetics, and unlockables unique to the mobile version.

“Battlefield Mobile is still in development and is being optimized to run on various devices. This play test is available exclusively for phones running Android 7.0 and up. Mobile devices supported by this test at last launch version, and will support more models in the future,” EA quoted in the FAQ page.

As for content, the publisher will only be adding the Grand Bazaar map and the classic Battlefield game mode – Conquest during the beta. Additional content will be made available closer to the game’s final release.

Reports speculate that the upcoming EA game will offer a standard Battlefield experience, such as custom loadouts, customizable soldiers, Battlefield game modes, tanks etc. The standalone game is scheduled to release next year.
