The weekend episode of ‘Super Dancer – Chapter 4’ began with Sanjay Dutt entering the show with an idol of Ganpati and the contestants performing some of Dutt’s songs. Later Anurag Basu, who is also the judge of this dance reality show along with Shilpa Shetty and Geeta Kapoor, revealed a very important detail of his life. It is related to late Bollywood actor Sunil Dutt, Sanjay’s father.
There was a time when Anurag Basu wanted to meet Late Sunil Dutt and requested Mahesh Bhatt to arrange a meeting. Unfortunately, that day never came and Sunil Dutt passed away. Anurag was among the first few who reached his home and stayed with the family. And this is the day when Anurag saw the biggest earner of one’s life and the immense love and respect Sunil Dutt got. He’s never seen anything like this before.
Narrating the incident, Anurag Basu broke down and said: “I am sharing this because once when I was sick (suffered with cancer) I could not find a bed anywhere in the hospitals. Mahesh Bhatt called Dutt sahib. Who arranged one for me within 5 minutes. I am here today because of him. Not only that, he used to call me every two days and check my health. So, I am here today because of him. And it breaks my heart that I never got to thank them. I am so indebted to the Dutt family.”
After receiving heartfelt tributes from the contestants, an overwhelmed Sanjay Dutt says: “I have no words but I would like to say only one thing. In life, I have never really made money, but have earned a lot of love, friends and the strength to face obstacles. “
“A humble request that I would like to make to the youth of today… don’t live my life. Follow the order of the country, and do everything with love with your heart. In the end, I just want to say thank you, He concluded.
