Amidst all these uncertainties, students are worried about their future. Will NTA delay the result or conduct the exam again? What will happen to JEE Advanced?
Reports claimed that the results of the August-September cycle of the governing body are unlikely to be delayed. “What the CBI has disclosed are cases of unfair means. As soon as we are informed about the candidates involved, we will cancel their results,” a senior NTA official told The Digihuntn Express. He insisted that the exam paper was not leaked, so the matter should not be confused with the paper leak, which usually leads to the cancellation of the exam.
On the other hand, experts are in favor of canceling the exam and re-conducting it as it ‘may cause injustice to the students’. But conducting fresh exams may take months and the tight academic schedule may be delayed.
